While modern health technologies offer various ways to treat ailments, natural ways to health have always persisted through generations. For example, home remedies for kidney stones described in this article simply work. Read on to find out.
Background on Home Remedies for Kidney Stones
Legacy From a Loving Mom
Just like anyone, growing up in my childhood I perpetually recall occasional trips to the clinic of our family doctor. I grew up in a clan where 80% work in the medical field as well as engineers from generation to generation—from my grandpa, aunts, cousins, siblings, niece, nephew—yet my experience tells me that health can be achieved through home remedies.
Fortunately enough I do have a loving Super-Mom, Super Mother whose awesome savviness in life comes very naturally. She has ample expertise in food, health, herbal medicines, or treating some minor sickness the natural way.
My Española grandma always says in the golden days they were not accorded any clinics, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies yet they have abundant medicinal herbs and plants that heal them.
How Home Remedies for Kidney Stones Worked
A relative of ours was diagnosed with a kidney stone disorder and the doctor recommended surgical removal of the kidney stones in a few months. Good thing my loving mother knows herbal meds to combat kidney stone disorder. She simply gave our relative a glass of papaya herbal tea every day, once a day for about three (3) months.
When the appointed time for her scheduled operation came, a series of medical laboratories and corresponding check-ups ensued. The laboratory results revealed that the kidney stones were gone! Those accumulated deposits of calcium were nowhere to be seen.
My relative was miraculously healed by the healing wonders of the papaya herbal tea, garlic, and prayers. Everyone was astonishingly overjoyed to hear what had happened, to hear the good news.
Indeed, God is so considerably good. God has eminently healed my relative from her kidney stone disorder just in God’s perfect time in such a way that she won’t have to endure the scheduled major operation anymore.
The Power of Prayer
The LORD adequately answers pleas and prayers if you humbly come to Him and present your fervent prayers. You have to submissively come to Him and have a pronto prayer without any remorse.
Once you directly pray to God (and not to man-made false gods because you are insulting a Sovereign and Powerful God who can’t be contained in man-made figurines or statues of false gods), then our Almighty God will surely hear from heaven and grant His mercy upon you. He has an amazing heart for you, for us.
He knows you by your name even before you were born when you were still inside the womb of your mom. That’s how special you are to God Almighty.
Moreover, God has created plants and trees in the universe to serve as food and medicines for God’s purpose of His creation—us or humankind. It is left to us, humankind, to soulfully rediscover the healing wonders of the plants and trees which have been on the front line ever since the world began. God specifically created nature as the source of healing for His top 1, First-rate creation—the human race because of His Great Love for us.
The following section details how my mother proceeded with the home remedies for kidney stones.
4 Home Remedies for Kidney Stones
1. Undertake Water Therapy
Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water every day.
The earth’s is composed of 71% water, and human blood plasma is 90%water. The kidneys regulate fluid in the body, insufficient water can lead to kidney disorder and other health concerns.
The leading cause of kidney stones is a lack of water. Just as gas is for cars to efficiently run, so water is thereby essential for kidneys to fully function.
See the following video and appreciate the importance of water in the efficient functioning of the kidneys.
2. Consume Garlic
Take a clove of small garlic once a day. Combine it in any of your meals, like veggies or meat.
Garlic has curative components and is historically known useful in fighting infections, viruses, and bacteria (Santhosha et al., 2013). The freshly harvested garlic contains a much higher concentration of its medicinally active ingredients.
3. Prepare a papaya herbal tea

Papaya contains calories, carbo, fiber, protein, Vit C, Vit A, B9 Folate, Potassium, Antioxidants, including carotenoids found in papaya (Ugo et al., 2019). Studies have shown that papaya can reduce sickness in the body.
3 Ways on How to Make Papaya Herbal Tea
- Simply pluck about 2 to 3 pieces of fresh papaya leaves from its tree. Wash gently.
- Bring it to a boil in two glasses of water for virtually 20 minutes or more, or when the leaves are so soft. You’ll know when it’s sufficiently cooked when the color of the water turns to grey or light dark green. Thus, extraction of active components is perfectly done. Set aside for a few minutes.
- Pour the liquid into a glass while warm. Your Papaya Herbal Tea is ready for your immediate use or drinking.
- Drink the tea every day for more or fewer than 3 months or until your kidney stones are gone and you feel well again.
4. Pray
There is Power in the blood of Jesus. Make prayer a part of your daily routine.
4 Additional Tips
- Always have freshly harvested garlic and papaya leaves for the content of medicinal ingredients are much higher.
- Munching on raw mint leaves, and apples or lettuce after eating garlicky foods helps by neutralizing the sulfur compounds that is mainly responsible for the pungent odor of the garlic.
- Plant papaya fruit trees in a big pot or better yet in your backyard as it has large beneficial elements for our health and can be taken as fruit as well.
